Financial Support
The two main portals for financial support are the Capital Campaign and the Educational Outreach Programming.
-
Capital Campaign goal $300,000.00
The current need for our Capital Campaign is to complete the purchase of our new museum space. This will ensure a permanent home for the collection and provide a solid base for the sustainability of the business aspect of the organization.
$84,700.00 has been raised with $191,300.00 to go....
The money already raised has:
- Constructed the interior of the new Museum space.
- Opened a Museum store with inventory.
- Begun purchase of 13 Brown Street.
-
Educational Outreach Programming annual goal $70,000.00
The second and very important avenue of support is the Museum's Educational Outreach Programming. The Museum offers an outstanding and truly unique program to school children and adults throughout Northern New England.
This goal of this funding is to allow for equal accessibility to the program for both rural and urban communities in Northern New England. The funding pays for half the program fee and all travel expenses. Participating schools and organizations pay the second half of the program fee.
The funding for the educational outreach programming is sought on an annual basis, from grants and individual sponsorships. The program brings the richness of the Museum out into the communities in Northern New England. Every program dollar reaches one person indirectly, assuming that every participant impacts at least two others with their experience.
